
Beginners Course
The beginners courses are held on the range from 9am-12pm (3 hours) for 4 consecutive Sundays for a collective of 12 hours in total. To graduate, beginners must attend all 4 Saturdays.
Our Beginners Course fee is K250/person. There are only 4 spots available, so first come, first serve.
The beginners course held at Port Moresby Archery Club lives up to the general international standards and we thus cover all necessary information to achieve a good start in the sport. Beginners must wear closed footwear on the range (preferably as flat as possible) and should remember to bring a hat, sunscreen and something to drink.

Program Overview:
This program is designed to introduce young archers to the sport of archery and provide them with the skills and knowledge necessary to become successful archers. The program includes a compulsory beginners' course, followed by a series of more advanced training sessions.
Beginners' Course:
The beginners' course is designed to teach young archers the basics of archery, including:

Equipment maintenance and repair
The course will be conducted over a period of 4 consecutive Sundays, with each session lasting approximately 3 hours. The course will be taught by a certified archery instructor and will include both classroom instruction and hands-on training
