Our club is based at June Valley shooting Range. The shooting range is owned and administered by the Port Moresby Gun Club. Please refer to our contact page for a map and directions

The Port Moresby Archery Club is a community of archery enthusiasts located in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. We welcome members of all skill levels to join us in the practice and enjoyment of archery

We practice outdoor target archery. The bow type used at the club is recurve bows and compound bows. We accommodate beginners all the way to experienced archers.

No, you do not need your own equipment to join. The club provides equipment for beginners. As you progress, you may choose to purchase your own gear, and our experienced members are happy to offer advice on what to buy.

Membership fees vary depending on the type of membership (adult, junior, family, etc.). Please visit our membership page for detailed information on the current fees.

To join the club to shoot, you can sign up to the beginners course offered by the club instructors. To be a social member, fill out the form and request a current club member to nominate you on the application form. The purpose of the social membership is to encourage volunteers and interested persons to be part of our club and promote a sense of community within our city.

Please note that social members are not permitted to shoot at the club.

Yes, the club organizes its own competition at the club. Our club also participates in tournaments organized by our regional affiliate - World Archery Oceania and events under the Olympic Charter. Members of the club have represented the country in the 2019 Pacific Games, 2018 World Archery Oceania Championships and the 2024 Oceania Club Challenge.
